I write this article with my fundamental belief or presumption that God of the Abrahamic faiths exists and the Quran is the literal word of the All Knowing God and examine everything else in that light.

The above twelve minute video describes the complexity of nuts and bolts of brain, which are neurons and synapses. This biological mystery of a thousand trillion synapses some how creates our consciousness that is so poorly understood that we have only weak theories about this all pervasive reality of our existence.

The holy Quran describes that humans will never completely solve the mystery of human consciousness or human soul:

And they ask you (Muhammad) concerning the soul. Say, ‘The soul is by the command of my Lord; and of the knowledge thereof you have been given but a little.’ (Al Quran 17:85)

How do the scientists perceive the mystery of consciousness these days:

This complexity or mystery of consciousness does not end with our worldly experiences and worldly life. Our thoughts and our actions are being recorded according to the Quran:

We created man––We know what his soul whispers to him: We are closer to him than his jugular vein––with two guardian angels set to record, one on his right side and one on his left: he does not utter a single word without an ever present watcher. (Al Quran 50:16-18)

And:

It makes no difference whether any of you speak secretly or aloud, whether you are hiding under cover of night or walking about in the day: each person has guardian angels before him and behind, watching over him by God’s command. (Al Quran 13:10-11)

And:

But there are guardian angels over you, honored recorders, who know all that you do. (Al Quran 82:10-12)

We obviously do not see our guardian angels. But, if they literally exist rather than a metaphorical existence and in some sense are closer to our jugular veins then they must exist in extra dimensions, but in close proximity to each and every one of the trillion neurons that our brain possesses. A good record of our thoughts and actions will eventually be presented to God of Mercy for His final compassionate consideration in AA good record of our thoughts and actions will eventually be presented to God of Mercy for His final compassionate consideration in Afterlife.

So, now we move from the mystery of brain and human consciousness to the mystery of extra dimensions in physics:
