O People of the Book, do not exceed your religion’s limits, and say nothing of Allah but the truth. Indeed, the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only a Messenger of Allah and a fulfillment of His word, which He sent down to Mary, and a mercy from Him. So believe in Allah and His Messengers, and say not ‘They are three.’ Desist, it will be better for you. Verily, Allah is the only One God. Far is it from His Holiness that He should have a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. And sufficient is Allah as a Guardian. (Al Quran 4:171)

And when Allah will say, “O Jesus, son of Mary, didst you say to men, ‘Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah?’”, he will answer, “Holy are You. I could never say that to which I had no right. If I had said it, You would have surely known it. You know what is in my mind, and I know not what is in Your mind. It is only You Who are the Knower of hidden things. (Al Quran 5:116)

The work of Prof. Bart Ehrman does not completely solve the mystery of the resurrection of Jesus completely, for that we need other sources, for example, Bishop John Shelby Spong, but, as regards divinity of Jesus, in his popular books and videos, we have a complete paradigm to prove that Jesus never claimed to be God, therefore, the inference is inevitable that Jesus lived and preached as a Jewish prophet.
